May Revise Constitution In Indiana Legislative Move
Indianapolis December 21. It is likely the issue of a constitutional convention will be presented to the coming legislature. Eusch G. Proposals include alien education tests for suffrage, longer biennial sessions, fixed two year salaries for legislators, governor veto over parts of bills, four year terms for all offices, overhauling the judiciary with no appellate court and a larger supreme court, broader circuit courts with multiple judges, possible appointment of judges, civil verdicts by three fourths of jurors, and bar admission qualifications.
