Runaway Horse Stopped by Officer Tyser in City Chase

Officer T. J. Tyser halted a sorrel runaway mare early yesterday after a high speed pursuit through Hill Street and Woodward Avenue. Amid crowd reactions and near collisions, Tyser leaped forward guiding the mare with a firm rein and sudden jerk, bringing the animal to the gallop’s end at gale station for inspection by Dr. Brinson’s staff.

Bond Required to Secure Restraining Order in Seaboard Case

Seaboard Air Line must file a bond of 23000 dollars before the restraining order becomes effective in the case against Western and Atlantic Railroads. Pennsylvania to Send 25-Member Exposition Commission

Harrisburg April 26. The Pennsylvania legislature approved a joint resolution to form a commission to represent the state at the Atlanta exposition. The panel expands to 25 members including the governor, lieutenant governor, state treasurer, president pro tem, three senators, the Speaker, five representatives, and 12 gubernatorial appointees. Governor Hastings aims for two weeks at the exposition in October.
