Vice President and Mrs Stevenson left for Chicago yesterday where they joined Miss Létitia Stevenson. From Chicago they proceed to Washington to stay at the capital during the congressional session. They will reside at the Hotel Normaunaie.

Michigan City Ind Dec 2 The Haskell and Barker carworks announced the resumption of work in all departments. The works will run night and day after December 25 and 1 000 men will be given employment.
George Brown who was charged with robbing Martin Murray a pensioner was discharged by the mayor and the case dropped by the prosecutor.
