The act of May 28 1919 provides that any enlisted man in the navy or naval reserve honorably discharged since Nov 11 1918 shall receive five cents per mile from the place of discharge to their homes. Men discharged between Nov 11 1918 and March 12 1919 should submit their claims to the Navy Department Washington. Those discharged since March 12 1919 should submit to the supply officer laying them off. If transport or subsistence was partly furnished, claims may cover the difference. Application blanks will be sent by the Navy Department on request.
