Private Edward J. Weingartner, veterinary evacuation section No. 7 ABE in France, expects to return to his Troy city home at noon. He left Troy Dry Cleaning in 1918 and, after training, sailed overseas August 13 1918, spending ten months in France visiting major cities. He writes he is pleased with service and French people, but longs to come home.

Alleged Dowieite Is Sentenced in Indiana Juvenile Court
In Indianapolis on June 13 United Press reports Rev Harold Cordell 27 a follower of Voliva's Zion City church was fined 600 and jailed six months for contributing to the delinquency of a 11 year old girl. The girl testified that Cordell advertised in a local paper offering a home with a good Christian family and the mother enabled the girl to live at Cordell's home. About seven years earlier Cordell then a member of the Grigey church was tried on a charge of assault against a 14 year old girl whom he married, later annulled, and Cordell has two young children from a later marriage.
