A young soldier who enlisted in the Western States aviation corps died from typhoid fever in San Antonio Texas. He was eighteen and had lived in Lafayette after his family arrived there eight years ago. The other victim’s son’s bedside visit reached the hospital two hours after his death. The body was sent to Lafayette for services. funeral arrangements will be held tomorrow. Mr Seredel and daughter Miss Helen and Lirgle Stellern traveled from Lafayett to attend the funeral.

Boy of Tsoth Soldier Killed in Action with Rainbow Division
Private Paul Gross of the One Hundred and Fiftieth U.S. Field Artillery, Rainbow division, is reported killed in action.
