Guard unit foes into federal service soon

The Indiana National Guard will organize its first separate unit, the 152nd Infantry, at the armory on Campbell 34. Major Albert Tick from the adjutant general’s office announced the telegram confirming the unit’s formation. Forty-two men have joined, with more expected as preparations continue to meet federal service needs. The initial noncommissioned officers were called for examinations and training.

Demingmeeting features Italian music and speakers

Minton and Amos Hershey, who traveled to Europe with former President Wilson, will teach.
