Sheriff Reichelderfer Captures a Forger

Sheriff A M Reichelderfer returned to Tort Wayne iaat evening after two hours visit at Mayerilia with Zon Saladin of Monrosville. The pair attempted to cash forged checks at the Varlan bank using a 150 dollar payment to John Perry. A Mayesville man and another Monroeville merchant were reportedly targeted.

Sturgis to Host Municipal Dam Dedication Celebration

Vige president will attend the Sturgis municipal dam dedication October 11 to 13 with a 8090 horsepower hydro plant. Vice President Sherman will arrive from Chicago and speak along with Governor Ostorme Senatormith Congressman Hamilton and others. The three day program includes speeches horse show fruit and plant displays and music by Rogar’s celebrated band.

Purses Found in Alley Linked to Robbery Probe

Police recover three small black leather purses found in an alley behind the Fred Poenges store at 1114 Maumee Avenue. They are held at headquarters awaiting owners. Investigators believe the purses were discarded after being emptied during a robbery.
