Former Larwill merchant dies Sunday
Edwin L. Barber a Larwill dry goods elevator operator and former Whitley County representative to the state legislature died Sunday evening at his daughter's home after illness. Born in New York eighty six years ago he served as Larwill postmaster in the 1860s and was elected to the state legislature in 1884. Burial will be in Lake View cemetery with services by the Larwill Blue Lodge. He is survived by four children Mrs Lewis Clevenger William H Fred J and Edwin C of Fort Wayne.
