Hundreds of friends and relatives joined the Fort Wayne community in paying final respects to J F W Meyer veteran druggist. Merchants from the Fort Wayne Retail Merchants Association led a procession from the Commercial Club to Mayer Avenue and then to St Pauls Lutheran Church for services by Rev. Jacob Miller Rev Wambagns of Emmaus and Rev Lange of Concordia. Interment followed at Concordia Cemetery. Meyer Brow drug stores closed for the day as relatives and distant guests attended. Relatives from St Louis New York Chicago and Cleveland joined local mourners for the funeral.
