Salesman Contest Cup Awarded to Fort Wayne Native

Redman, formerly of Fort Wayne and now district salesmanager for Wayne Oil Tank & Pump Co in San Francisco, received a silver loving cup for first place in a sales contest at a banquet in Wolf & Deslaver auditorium. Afterward attendees joined a theater party at the Palace and will attend a weeklong national conference with managers from the U S and Canada. Additional plans include reseeding the sales campaign to boost performance next year. Other former Fort Wayne men, I L Solies of Richmond, J Grosh of Petrolia, and Kenneth Klamp of Cleveland, are among attendees.

Trainmen Meet With Pennsylvania Heads

Trainmen from four brotherhoods in the Fort Wayne division met Pennsylvania officials to discuss a potential strike.
