Minnesota returns show Johnson elected governor for two more years with a commanding lead over A N Cole. Early results hint at large Democratic gains while Republican figures concede defeat. Legislature composition remains unclear as figures stay incomplete.
From St Paul Minnesota reports at something like 6 o'clock state central committee manager J R Lawson wires supporters that Johnson leads by wide margin. Johnson over Cole with about a 60 000 to 75 000 advantage as returns show including Minneapolis and St Paul precincts. Johnson’s win confirms re election as governor of Minnesota.
Late returns show the next New Jersey legislature will be Republican on the total ballot. The results imply a Republican gain in the upcoming session in Trenton.
In Topeka Kansas on November, Chainman W A Ryan of the Democratic State Central Committee asserts W A Harris has won the U S Senate seat over Governor Hoch by a plurality estimated between 10 000 and 30 000. Republican chairman Cimmer counters Hoch’s election but offers no figures.
Detroit Michigan reports early returns show Governor Warner leading for the Republicans with an estimated majority around 100 011 based on scattered results received by o clock. The outcome appears favorable for Warner as results continue to come in from statewide precincts.
Detroit voters report Governor Warmer and the Republican statewide ticket elected by about 60 090 to 100 000 majority. Republican congressional candidates won in all twelve Michigan districts and the party is poised for a large majority in the state legislature with possible full membership.
San Francisco November 6 Gen George Stone chairman of the Republican state central committee told the Associated Press there is no doubt of the result The entire Republican state ticket including eight congressmen has been elected by a large plurality With California expected to vote strongly Republican Stone predicted a statewide plurality between 500 and 1000 and a total GOP lead exceeding 23000 votes.
Atlanta reports that all Democratic congressional candidates won in Georgia. The sole contest occurred in the First district where Edwards, a Democrat, was elected by a plurality of about 4,000 votes.
Washington Republicans appear set for an overwhelming victory with both the state House of Representatives and the Senate tilting Republican according to early indications from Seattle.
In MNE Wyoming on November 6 the entire Republican ticket led by Governor Brooke won by a margin of not less than 2,000, giving the party a small majority.
A preliminary tally shows Congressman Joseph W. Babcock, a Republican, trailing by an estimated 240 votes as returns come in. The result signals a tight contest in the district with final results pending full precinct reporting.

Charleston November 7 The South Carolina election passed without incident with a very small vote. Governor F C Ansell, a Democrat, and the entire state ticket were elected.
Guthrie November 6 report states the constitution of Oklahoma was drafted by Democrats. Vernon Whiting, secretary of the Oklahoma central committee, concedes Democrats three delegates while Chairman Jesse Dunn says there will be at least seventy eight Democratic delegates on the floor.
Idaho reports indicate Democrat Stockslayer wins governor seat with Ava county counted while Republican Gooding trails. Scattering returns show broad landslide trends in the north and central areas. New Haven tallies reveal large Republican majorities for statewide ticket and four of five congressional seats with Governor Wooten leading Thayer by margins in several towns.
Texas voters, in a Democratic landslide, elected the entire state ticket and likely the full legislature. Only a slight chance for Republicans to gain footing, with W. H. Gabbert possibly affecting the supreme court race. all Democratic congressmen secured strong majorities.
Danville November 6 The Eighteenth district reports Joseph G Cannon elected by a Usual majority. Journal Gazette notes the expected result and confirms the customary leadership in the House.
