Across Pennsylvania New Hampshire and New York heavy Republican wins are reported yet with close races in California Montana and Iowa. Governors and legislatures tilt GOP in several states while New York's Coler leads narrowly in Greater New York and Odell merits a strong statewide margin.
The city of Greater New York shifted back to the Democratic Party after a fusionist mayoral win last year. Voters backed three Supreme Court justices, eleven U.S. representatives, twenty-one state senators, and sixty-two assembly members. Kings elected a sheriff and Queens chose a district attorney. Coler’s gubernatorial purity in the city topped 100000.

In Cuyahoga county 153 of 242 precincts report with Law Tit as the Republican leading secretary of state candidate and Bigelow as the Democrat. Law Tit has 20465 votes to 22624 for Bigelow.
In Jackson Mississippi on November 1 and 4 the tallying shows under 40 000 votes cast. Democratic candidates for congress were elected without opposition and the constitutional amendments appear defeated.
From Raleigh sources it was reported that four more counties push Democratic margins beyond 30,000, with eastern and middle counties yielding similar ratios. The state ticket appears to lead by about 65,000 statewide, signaling a solid Democratic lead.
Detroit, Nov 4. Chairman Diekema reports Bliss and state ticket likely to win by 40,000 to 60,000. 11 Republican congressmen elected, First district still in doubt. Democratic Whiting says Lucking carried First district and many legislators elected. Durand governor candidate ahead by about 19,000. Congressmen listed: Second Charles E. Townsend, Third Washington Gardner, Fourth Enwart L. Hamilton, Fifth Samuel W. Smith, Seventh Henry McMarrow, Ninth Roswell P. Bishop, Eleventh Archibald B. Darragh, all Republicans.
Akron Nov 4 Gen Charles Dick is re-elected to Congress with a larger plurality than in 1910. Summit County favors Laylin for secretary of state by a 145 plurality. The full Republican county ticket likely wins with Burt defeating Lower for recorder.
Meager returns at midnight show Republicans likely winning the state and the next legislature. In Chicago, Busse carries the city for state treasurer and Barrett defeats the Republican sheriff candidate by about 16,000. Legislative results in Chicago show Republicans with 10 senate seats and 22 representatives to Democrats 4 and 16 respectively, with five districts still reporting.
GEORGIA. ATLANTA, Ga., Nov 4. Georgia today elected a solid delegation of eleven Democratic congressmen. Voter interest was low and figures in the eleven districts were not collected tonight. Except in the Seventh district, Democrats faced no opposition and the vote was very light.
Delaware dispatch reports in Wilmington that Democrats won the First, Fourth, and Fifth representative districts, gaining three of five in the city. Regular Republican George W. Sparks was endorsed by Democrats in the First Senatorial District, while James P. Jone appears elected in the Second Representative District.
South Carorina Charleston D C November 4 Democrats elect their entire congressional ticket without opposition Georgetown County selects will Democratic ticket for the first time in thirty five years.
Lincoln Neb Nov 4 Lincoln city cast a normal vote totaling around 1 600 for the Republican state ticket. Mickey rep for governor led the ticket in a turnout expected to favor law and order. The Republican legislative slate with two senators and five representatives was elected in Lancaster county.

Hon. Hale Johnson a national prohibition leader and 1896 gubernatorial nominee was shot by Harry Harris at Bogota Jasper County near Newton. Harris fled but was captured. Johnson’s body was taken to Newton where he later died by suicide. Johnson had been a presidential candidate on the prohibition ticket and had once led the party in Illinois.
