Auto Wreck Near Waterloo Injures Several
A Sunday night crash east of Waterloo involved George Campbell and companions in two buggy carts. Frank Madden and Miss Lela Winn of Auburn were injured including a severe facial cut and possible scar. Mildred Siuciatr sustained a head wound. Madden’s buggy was wrecked and the horse injured. occupants of the second buggy escaped unharmed except for bumps. Campbell gathered the injured and conveyed them from the scene.

The remains of M. F. Loomis were returned to his home after arriving at 2:28 and were laid to rest at Sargent Street. Loomis, past seventy, longtime city merchant, Presbyterian, Knight Templars member since 1872, survived by sons H Loomis of this city and Harry Loomis of Elkhart, and sister Mrs A H Clark of Kirkland Washington. Funeral to be held with Masonic and commandery involvement. A separate note from the Tuesday club event at Mrs. R. P. Bare’s on Mitchell Street describes a German philosophy program led by Mrs. Julia Jattloson, with papers by several members and a vocal solo by Miss Anna Krueger. guests served a social hour and refreshments after.
