County commissioners let bids on three roads. Ashton Road went to Garton and Crosbie for 5101,000. Pulver Road to Hitenauer and Kolbe for 22,070. Fequinnot Road awarded to the same firm for 47,000. New directors of Ue Electro Technic club of the General Electric plant were elected at last night’s meeting in the club rooms. The new directors are Fleming, Miller, Milles, Schwarzekopf and Newlin. Chief Abbott announces three women selected by the safety board to join the police force. Florence Madden Clara Camnalian and Mildred Uten receive patrol sergeant status and direct oversight roles.
