Theodore Roosevelt declares he will accept only if an honest majority leads the Republican convention. He criticizes fraudulent delegates, urges immediate purge from rolls, and says he will lead the fight for the rule of the people and social justice. He states he will accept the nomination if the honest majority supports him.
A 80 by 200 foot parcel opposite Griffin's home on Fairfield Avenue offers attractive forest trees and is advertised for quick sale by Isaac D'isay in Bass Block Columbia City Indiana. In other news, Frank Mettsier escorted Ray Mowery and Emery Brown to Big Lake where a canoe trip down the Tippecanoe River toward Lafayette is planned. The group hopes to reach the river by Thursday evening and land in Lafayette by Sunday, carrying a kodak for snapshots.
