Int June 20. Harry Willart Elehart ten years old drowned in the St. Joseph river near his home two and a half miles from Wikhiart amortly after 12 o'clock in the afternoon. He was fishing from a boat tied to the shore a short distance from his home.

Word reached Garrett Indiana that EB M McCartney, recently editor of the Garrett Press and Journal Gazette correspondent, was struck and killed by a streetcar in Chicago. He had gone to the city as a special writer and was returning home early Thursday morning when the accident occurred.
