Re elect Felger for third time shocks county trustees

Five Republican and four Democratic trustees backed Felger for a third term while Mrs Leasure emerged as a surprise candidate. Electrical storm blows through city causing damage

A severe lightning storm felled and shocked residents including Charles W. Porter at 12 Bank Block and Arb. Joseph Whiiinger near 807 West Third, melting a guitar tail piece at William Helfer’s home on 1425 St Mary’s Ave while furniture remained untouched. Whiiinger’s daughters were stunned as a pole strike sent shock through the house. The strange events accompanied a night of chaotic weather and odd pranks reported by Patterson Fletcher Co.
