It cites preventive results for lung and stomach troubles, urges requests at pharmacies, and notes sealed bottles only with trademark Old Chords on the Loveland, offering a free medical booklet from Rochester manufacturer.
Marcus A Kavanal a Chicago chief justice spoke at Kendallville in the chauteugua evening addressing crime trends. He urged action, police reform, and court efficiency. He warned of rising homicide rates in the US and urged respect for law and jury responsibilities.
Detroit July 27 Patral min Toloyd Robinson officer was shot and killed today by 20 year old Fred Milne who resisted arrest on burglary charges. Spectator J T Halmonson, nine, was struck in the arm while trying to flee and capture Milne. Milne was later grabbed nearby.
Huntington Ind July 27 Friends of Clifford F Jackman in the Eleventh district back his bid for the Progressive gubernatorial nomination. Jackman, a Huntington lawyer, is a leading third party organizer pushing a platform with initiative referendum recall direct primary and public oversight and calls for government ownership of utilities and reform of court procedure. He aims to win Indiana in November and says he would head the ticket if asked.
Henry M Williams, president, says he will spend $10000 of his own money to survey seven interurban lines under Fort Wayne Union Traction. He seeks locating engineers from Ohio, discusses Robison Park, Lake Everett Park plans, and opposition from Fort Wayne supporters and rival rail efforts. The plan envisions 500 miles of new trackage and a large Thousand Acre Lake Everett Driving Park with projected annual incomes around 250000.
In Huntington County Indiana alarm over the Bull Moose tide prompts the third party movement to push out Roosevelt adherents. Walter Bailey of Peru, Republican district chairman, arrives amid a hastily called meeting of off line Republicans. Bailey orders a central committee session next week to resign those not in accord and purge the committee of Roosevelt supporters.
The Hamilton National Bank bought the Hoollinges blenk for 60000, the only notable event as business slowed during vacation season. Weekly bank clearings totaled 1,089,084.74 with payrolls at 287,960.86. daily totals list Monday through Saturday but some figures appear garbled.

Mrs F Merriman and Miss Ads Mullikin visit Rome City. Mrs Erama Devering and daughter Carrie visit Rome City. ELW Mearne shops in Tome City. The Merrimans and Thelma accompany guests to Bert Wayne and then Conneraville. Mrs Sara Flizeimmons and daughters Lyelins visit Fort Wayne at the country home of Fowepli Whetzol.
