Warren D. Smith to depart for Philippine Islands soon

Warren D. Smith, son in law of T EH Ellison of this city, will depart next week for the oil region of Southern California to study oil bearing rock, then proceed to the Philippines where he serves as chief of the mines department for the government. His California trip may aid Philippine authorities, following a year of lectures and travels in the United States. Also notice: Wanted men for work on track elevation, apply at College street and Pennsylvania railroad Monday morning.

City News: Building Permits and Local Travel Updates

A building permit was issued to C. I. Schile for a frame dwelling costing about 800 dollars at 919 Saville Avenue. Lee Nindo and H. W. Joseph Shadel of this city and Biss Beulah Warren of Indianapolis, member of the Harry Long Amusement Co, were married at Danville last Tuesday. The couple will reside here after the carnival season ends, returning to Milford where the bride’s mother and relatives joined the wedding party.
