Man fatally mauled by bull terrier in Hartford City yard

Edward Sinclair suffered horrific injuries after a pet bull terrier mauled him in his South Monroe home. Neighbors fought the dog for nearly half an hour before two shots killed the animal. Sinclair’s arms and hands were severely lacerated, thumbs bitten off, and he remains under close watch for hydrophobia risks as a mudstone treatment is applied. The baby in the house slept through the attack.
