Atlantic Squadron Reorganization Plans Issued by Navy

The navy outlines a new Atlantic fleet structure with Vice Admiral Coffman as force two and Vice Admiral Grant as force one. Lagrange County Woman Ends Life In Ill Health

Mrs Alvin Grove living near the McMahon school in Greenfield township committed suicide by placing a shotgun over her heart and pulling the trigger with a stick in her bedroom. Ill health is given as the reason. She is survived by husband and three children. The coroner returned a verdict in accord with the facts. No funeral arrangements yet. Several local notices follow about visits, licenses, and travel delays.

Fire Damages Lorber Millinery Store in Columbia City

A fire at Sam Lorber’s West Buron Street millinery shop in Columbia City, Indiana, caused about 4000 in losses, partially insured. Damage suspected from mice and matches.
