Weather Office Moves Soon and Related Storm Damage

The U S weather office will be moved from BN 812 Shoal building to Rooms 914 111 on the same floor. Medical Protective Co will occupy the vacated rooms. A washout on the Fort Wayne and Northern Indiana Traction line disrupted service between Huntington and Belden, with a fifty foot wash area and trees toppling power lines. General Manager W Greenland traveled to Huntington and Wabash to inspect the company’s interests as the storm caused poles to fall near Andrews.

Heavy rains flood Bluffton and Wells County fields

Bluffton Indiana July 11 heavy rain drenched Bluffton and Wells County for about twenty minutes totaling two inches. Water rose after twenty minutes, flooding yards and making dewers unable to carry water away. Many corn fields inundated and oats blown down badly, with some fields completely flooded.
