Anthony Wayne's Dual Grave Noted In Revolutionary Legend
Long account traces Major General Anthony Wayne to two Pennsylvania graves linked to his kills and campaigns. It describes his capture of Stony Point in 1779, frontier actions against Indians aided by Britain, the 1792 regimental expansion, and his later burial in Presque Isle and St David's church. The piece notes monuments and the odd fact of two graves and two memorials marking his memory.
