A Troy Township farmer, Charles Terman, dies at his country home after a yearlong illness from Bright's disease. Born near Mansfield, Ohio July 32, 1846, he moved to this county in 1866. He married at 33 and had seven children. Funeral Wednesday at Troy Township M E Church. interment Adler Cemetery. Mrs Vanderraul, sister. brothers Edgworth Terman of Los Angeles, Gal, Cie and Albert Terman of this county mourn his loss.

New York January 30 Catherine Augusta De Peyster left the bulk of her estate to the New York Historical Society as the principal beneficiary. She named her coachman Thomas Bierman as heir to $4,000 and all her horses harnesses and stable articles, while relatives received only heirloom bequests.
