Stag Correspondent reports Indiana lawmakers face stiff opposition from the legislature over lifting bans on German teaching in public, private, and parochial schools. Bills backed by Senator William E. Bowers and Representative Eph P. Dailey would allow German in elementary to high schools, with opposition from the American Legion Americanism commission led by Henry J. Ryan.

He is now in New York and expected within 16 days for surrender to J Mubley, special immigration inspector. Contended that he may be granted a certification card entitling him to reship foreign. Arrested individuals must be informed of counsel, have access to legal rights, and can testify in their own defense. Deportable aliens will be pursued under existing laws with due process safeguards.

It also pledges reconstruction and economic reform, with strong parliamentary approval and emphasis on opposing German aggression.
