Indianapolis Jan 2 The state highway commission approved adding 300 miles of roads to the state system and outlined plans to inspect three routes. They will traverse River road from Rising Sun to Vevay, travel between Lebanon and Westfield, a 15 mile stretch, and review the Indianapolis to Fortville Michigan road to 79 miles. Final inspection in part at Logansport.
A statement from Fenton Hott of Daving, D., on behalf of the American National Association Masters of Dancing denounces jazz influenced dancing. The group blames Oriental suggestiveness and broken time in the Fox Trot Jazz for declining taste, urging clean dancing and stricter supervision across welfare groups, colleges, and public halls.

Prosecutor Louis Crosby and court staff presided over twelve criminal cases with defendants named, including Johnson, Tattman, McClure, Henderson, Scanney, Koop, Hegerfeldt, Green, Hulen, McCulloch, Dematroff, and Kryson, with various charges and dates listed. A case against Wallace Gray and Joe Brooks was dismissed, and a capital stock increase for Fort Wayne Public Amusement Co. was recorded from 75 000 to 200 000. The executive committee will meet at noon at the Chamber of Commerce.
London youths have formed over 30 subscription luncheon clubs to offer meals at about a shilling and a half instead of 50 cents at restaurants. They claim quicker service and better value, causing alarm among existing restaurateurs as the idea rapidly spreads.
Officials of the city administration from mayor to office staff are invited to a reception at the Jefferson club rooms next Thursday night. Samuel D. Jackson announces the event with Attorney R. C. Fury delivering felicitations and Mayor Hosey giving the response. The program includes formal addresses, a reception, music, and refreshments with extra invitations extended to Democrats.
