Wellingham February report says armed patrols circle the Great Northern passenger train robbery scene where three passengers died last night. Fires near the water works pumping station five miles east of Richmond prompted vigil for a blaze risk. Mrs. Mellasi Trindle of Wawaka dies. local deaths and social notes include a church dinner and community gathering with dancing and a hog weight contest.
In Hartford City Indiana on February 21 Joseph Pilliohs age 4 and Eden Klopp age 8 both of Montpelier wed after years living as a married couple. The couple had previously been in the limelight when an unknown person fired at them through a window, wounding both.
Indianapolis Feb 21 John Turke recently suspended as manager of the commissary department in the Panama zone arrived in Rome tonight. He says he will be acquitted of charges of taking large sums for placing supply orders and plans to return to Panama to resume his old job by April 1. He adds the charges give him no concern beyond the notoriety.

Sixty members of the Allen County Law Library Association attended the annual meeting and banquet at the Anthony venue last night. Attendees heard addresses and were entertained by performers from local theater groups. Prosecuting Attorney Murray I. Hillgemann gave the first speech. other speakers included William Treen, Willkun Ny, Mallon, and John Morris. The organizing committee comprised Fr. Somers, Wil Hark, J. Shamutraiugh, and Fred Zollars.
