Patterson Fletcher Co offers a daily sale of large stocks of suits overcoats and underwear at half price aimed at men and boys in northern Indiana. In a sale there are half price offers on all men’s fancy suits and vests. Suspenders are also half price with various priced items listed, including five dollar suspenders and priced options around ten dollars. Gloves and fur fold gloves show discounts, with a roughly twenty percent reduction noted.

Leroy Brickley and Wallace Presley, two Wells County youths, were arrested by Sheriff Act Mealbauar in Chinook Montana on forgery charges. They allegedly forged names on eight checks totaling about 44 dollars, with Brickley writing most and Presley cashed seven. The forgeries were discovered when Chinook merchants and a bank reported checks issued to various payees. Requisition papers were sought from Governor Ralston as officers pursued the case.
