Senate debates clerical costs and a permanent centre office

Police Court Sees Vagrancy Cases in Fort Wayne

In a morning session Judge Louttit ordered vagrants out of town as Detective Conn ar processed two suspects Wade and McGuire for vagrancy. Reports note 65 photographs prepared under Superintendent Gorsling for the National Bureau of Sentencing, tracing crimes from petty larceny to murder. A lost packet boat and a missing railway ticket prompt additional police notices as beggars tour the city while a Green venorts incident involves a peanut machine found in an alley.

New Railroad Grant Reported for Oklahoma

In Guthrim Oklahoma a 14 a charter was granted today to the Denver Kansas Atlantic Railroad Company to construct 1426 miles of track with capital stock of 15000000. The line runs from Turtram Penyer southeast to Marshall Oklahoma and then via Oklahoma City through the Seminole Chickasaw and Choctaw nations to Paris Texas. The incorporators are all westerners.

Snow Storm Threatens South Across Tennessee

Snow fell steadily across Tennessee towns with ground depths reported from six inches in one location to nearly eight inches in others. In Chattanooga and surrounding areas the storm continued through the night, leaving dry pavements and heavy snowfall accumulating as temperatures dropped and winds remained.

American explorers perish in wilds of Venezuela

Chicago, Feb. 14. George A. Plavelle of Chicago and Charles M. Ourington of New York, young explorers, are reported dead in Venezuela jungles. J. G. McGill, who sailed from Caracas, brings details of their fate and the earlier death of Plavelle near the Paregua river and Carington from fever in the swamps.

Insurance Men Depart After Brookside Fire Loss

Judgment Against Goulds in Paris Trust Disputes

A Paris court ordered the executors of Anna Gould and George J. Gould to pay creditors named in earlier judgments. Creditors Manheim & Co., Vincent & D. O., and Edmond & Co. receive monthly sums, with a large tax due to the French republic. An appellate division affirmed Justice Rett’s dismissal of A Ditmar’s London debt claim against the Count De Cusiclane.

German Yacht Visit N Y Harbor Officers Dine

Admiral Borker the navy yard commandant and aide visited Admiral Von Shindisain on the Holenaellert yacht in New York Harbor this afternoon. After about twenty minutes aboard he returned to the yard. Count Von Bauchasin dined with Alfred Johnson. The Kaisér Wilhelm Der Grosse officers hosted dinner aboard. Next day some will visit Niagara Falls before Metz return. Admiral Von Bandlashs said he could not tie to sight the yacht Meteor now tied for the Emperor William.
