Mr Phil Hasterok of 114 Tah St Louis writes that after years of throat and stomach issues and failing to find relief from doctors, he tried PERUNA and reports relief after using half a bottle. He notes his wife heard of others helped and spent about fifty dollars elsewhere before trying the remedy.
Telegram to Charles Piten lists labor shortfalls and quotas for shipbuilding and war effort. It names trades wanted, including welders, blacksmiths, boiler makers, machinists, carpenters, and engineers, urging immediate enrollment in the United States Public Working Reserve.
