Deaths Doriot and Pierce noted in city obituaries
Louise Doriot wife of Julius Doriot died at 520 Masterson Street after a week long illness aged 13 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Dolphin County July 4, 1848 and celebrated a golden wedding last fall. Surviving husband and children include Harry W. Doriot Seattle and others in Denver and this city. Everett G. Pierce, 81, veteran of the Civil War, died at 729 East Lewis Street. He came to the area in 1855, taught at Wolf Lake, served as lieutenant in the 30th Indiana Infantry, later worked as a machinist for the Pennsylvania shop and retired eleven years ago. He was a Knight.
