Cabman's Blow Proved Fatal in Huntington Assault
R J Hoelthouse of Decatur died at 7 15 pm from a brain concussion after a cab dispute in Huntington Tuesday night. The blow, delivered by a cabman named Boston Weston, followed a fare dispute after a minstrel show social. Hoelthouse, 34, a traveling salesman with Fort Wayne ties, left with four companions and Weston in a cab to the Chicago and Erie depot. he later died en route to Decatur. A postmortem will be held. He leaves a wife and six children.
