Joe Wyatt Is Dead At Butler In Indiana

Butler Ind Dec 29 Word arrived of the death of Joe Wyatt a Richwood hospital patient for months The son of Nutheon and Mary Watt born December 7 1850 near Newville He had been a longtime resident of Death county He was married to Elizabeth Nelson and later to Mrs Warner of Detroit He worked as janitor at Butler public schools and was popular with pupils Funeral set for Thursday at the M church in Butler He survived by his widow and two grandchildren Glenn and Warner and by a daughter-in law Elizabeth Warner Detroit Mich Also noted was the death notice of William Blain a Keneath county resident whose service took place at the Butler At church with Rev A H Rackus officiating The deceased born in 1837 moved with his parents to land near Jeriath He traveled with his family in a covered wagon across the region and later pursued education at Orange Menehouls The report outlines Blain’s work at DS M S freight in Isa and various moves before settling in Butler He reportedly died December 24 and his widow Mrs Blain survived along with other relatives including Mary Tail of Sparta and extended kin in Michigan
