Harper and Muelber Form New Law Firm in Warsaw

In Warsaw Indiana on December 28 the law firm Harper and Zegenan dissolves as Judge elect Zegeman leaves active practice. James B Harper senior partners Otto H Wuelber join to form Harper and Muelber with offices at 624 end 617 Shoaft building. Harper practices in Allen county over thirty years and speaks German French and Polish. Fuelber’s son writes and ships papers before practicing law. Also county clerk announces marriage licenses including Matthew J Firestone and Eile M Hanken both of North Webster.

German Societies Plan Yearend Meetings and Entertainment

Two Plead Guilty by Ending Lives in Mystic

Mystic, Conn December 28 The arrest of several business men in this village on charges involving moral arditude has aroused the entire community. Two men committed death by their own actions today rather than face court proceedings. Five of the men arrested are over sixty years old. Herman Havlisch storekeeper asked to feed his horse then leaped from an upper window and died. Edward R. Williams aged 78 was found in his dining room as prosecutors said he had a warrant. All arrested men in court today posted heavy bonds for trials in the superior court. More arrests are expected both here and in Groton.

Chicago Firemen and Policemen Threaten to Quit

Four hundred policemen and several hundred firemen threaten to resign within weeks over a twenty percent city payroll cut for the first half of next year. The measure aims to close a funding shortfall in the city treasury.

Kosciusko Bull Moosers Organize Club in Warsaw Ind

About 200 Kosciusko County progressives gathered for a meeting and smoking event in Warsaw. The Kosciusko County Progressive Club was organized with officers elected: President Sonn N Runyan Vice President Aaron A Rusor Secretary OZ McCoy Treasurer Walter Chipman. Anderson’s Toner addressed the gathering and the progressive platform and plans. Indianapolis leader Inman spoke on progressive publicity and helped organize the club.
