Mrs Jessie Ceratt, formerly Mrs Jessie Baker of Port Wayne, died at her Syracuse home Sunday. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Jank Baker of 1326 East Washington. Surviving include her husband, the parents, a son, two brothers and a sister Townsend. G W Townsend aged five died at St Joseph's Hospital last evening from heart trouble after a short illness. The deceased, who lived at Twin Falls Idaho, visited here last Friday with sister Mrs St Spence. Electric car accident kills man near town crossing
A man attempting to cross a railway near the crossing last Thursday died of a cerebral hemorrhage after being struck by an electric car about one mile west of town. He died en route to Delphes and Va Wert county hospital. He is survived by a wife and child. Mr and Mrs J B Fronefield are visiting their Ludon, Kentucky daughter Mrs Nicholas Sponsell at home.

Baby burns feet eased with Brazilian Balm remedy
Mrs A Coliard of Arcade New York recalls treating her baby's blistered feet after stepping on a hot register. She soaked the feet in tepid water with Brazilian Balm for about twenty minutes and the fire abated, leaving the child well.
