Chicago November 20 The arbitration of issues between ninety eight western railroads and fifty five thousand enginemen began before a board under the Newlands act. The men seek to prove all but two demands have backing on some roads. Nine demands considered before adjournment as M W Cadle notes concessions exist on various lines.

He arrived after a rough crossing and visited hospitals alongside the Prince of Wales. The Danish steamer Mary was sunk by a mine in the North Sea. crew of fourteen evacuated, one boat missing. A German hydroplane critiqued as storm damaged, crew rescued and interned south of Cape Fornas after flying from Kiel and along the Schleswig coast.
Pittsburgh November 30 The National Reform Association opened its fifty first annual convention urging recognition of Jesus Christ as prince of peace and world wide peace campaign. Rev Dr S B McCormick presided with addresses by Rev Minton Dr McCormack and Dr T H C Acheson.
A Tokyo dispatch to Reuters reports a serious mine disaster in Hokkaido. The mine accident has left 437 miners dead, according to the telegram.
Word from El Pago, Texas dated November reports Villa forces opening a line between Juarez and Mexico City. Generals Villa and officials have not entered Mexico City, while Pachuca fell to federal-aligned brigades and supplies and vehicles were seized from the capital. Villa and his staff were at Tule awaiting a moment to move.
