Society luncheon at Country Club draws many city women

The cutfrain luncheon at the Country Club begins at 1 pm and will be attended by numerous city women including members of the State board of directors of the Equai Breochise League of Indiana. Transportation by automobile is arranged, with shuttles to the Anthony Hotel by 12 o'clock. Many names and travels of local residents are listed along with visitors and out-of-town relatives.

Riot leads to injuries in August crash at Greenfield

In August at Greenfield a collision injured seven people including Thomas Dean and Allen Greenfield. Mrs Dean and daughter June Henbrein of Elwood were hurt, and others sustained minor injuries. The accident was blamed on faulty road conditions and loose gravel.
