Baker of 2434 Thompson Ave, was killed when he fell under a Wabash train near the Thompson Avenue crossing yesterday morning while attempting to follow his brothers Edgar, 10, and George onto a moving car. He died en route to Lutheran hospital after injuries severed his body. witnesses included Mrs. Elisa Haines and A. S. Adams. The family said they had warned the children about railroad play, and this was Elmer’s first documented attempt to climb aboard a train. Elmer’s parents, Daler employed by W. Dowd, reported previous admonitions to stop the dangerous activity.
