Police Capture Figure Heads Testimony in Syrian Murder Case

Death Made Visit On Anniversary

Several Fort Wayne obituaries note long illness and family ties. Margaret Costello died at 29 after tuberculosis, on her sixth wedding anniversary at 15 Centlivre Avenue, leaving a husband John Costello and two children plus relatives. Frederick Kolthoff, 72, died after six weeks of cancer at 1001 Wall Street, survived by a widow and three children. John Latta died at Howe Hospital after a bowel obstruction operation. Lester Sarrazin, 32, died of tuberculosis at St Rechus Hospital, with several siblings and half-siblings listed. James Crance, 80, Civil War veteran, long local figure, died at his daughter’s home. funeral in Fort Wayne district announced.

Whitley County Pioneer Woman Dead

Mrs Margaret Lafever aged seventy eight died this morning at her son Johns home in Jefferson township from dropsy. A native of Richland county Ohio she came to Indiana in 1843 and married Minard Lafever who died in 18. Surviving are sons Philp and John Lafever and daughter Mrs John Grace of Whitley County and C W Lafever of Fort Wayne. She belonged to the Evergreen Church of God.
