A native of Richland county Ohio she came to Indiana in 1843 and married Minard Lafever who died in 18. Surviving are sons Philp and John Lafever and daughter Mrs John Grace of Whitley County and C W Lafever of Fort Wayne. She belonged to the Evergreen Church of God.
