April 16 in Brooklyn Rev Cortland Myers pastor of First Yapitat Church and NY Society for the Enforcement of Criminal Law testified as a witness in John Doe proceedings against pool rooms. He said he did not know pool rooms violated law but wrote to police commissioner based on information from others. He stated he would close all pool rooms in six months if funded.
