Robbins pitched for Shamrocks with strong fielding behind him as Alberts allowed three runs in three innings. the game featured crucial plays including a sensational mud assisted pickup and a crowded infield.

The largest current dispute is 4500 carpenters out in New York City with many expected to strike tomorrow. Edmunds Electric Construction quotes for electric and combination fixtures are requested.
Local soldier organizations and the Sons of Veterans have named executive and advisory committees to organize Memorial Day events. Key leaders include T. W. Binir as chair and committees for Finance, Program and Music, Spraters, Reception, Supplies, Transportation, Memorial Sunday, North Side Monument, and Decoration with an advisory group from Slow Buss Post Anthony Wayne Post Lawton Post and VA Post leaders. The full committee meets at Elektron building Monday evening April 13 to finalize arrangements.
Washington April 12 Assistant Attorney General James M Beck tendered his resignation to President Roosevelt before the president's departure for the west. Beck expresses pride in serving under the current and preceding administrations and accepts the resignation to take effect April 30. He says he will join Shearman & Sterling in New York May 1 while remaining affiliated with his Philadelphia firm. He led key government cases including mergers and the Neely extradition fight. His successor Nashant is chosen but not yet announced.
Indy April 1. The fire at Girty & Son stables last night burned the property, resulting in the loss of about thirty horses. One mare owned by Bonalor L. P. Newby was valued at $1000. Journal-Gazette Want Ads urge readers to use their services.
