Wiss Lizzie Collins of Bass street will leave for Chicago tomorrow to visit friends. A man drunk was found sleeping in an alley behind the Wayne hotel and was picked up by police. Armour strike spreads to international boycott effort
Kansas City labor leaders push for an international boycotting of Armour products after forty four Armour Packing firemen demand better terms. The Industrial council referred the dispute to its grievance committee which met Armour officials but the company stood firm. A federal court granted a temporary injunction restraining the strikers and council members from conducting the boycott as a hearing is scheduled.

Election of bishops set by Methodist conference in Cleveland
In Cleveland on May 12 the Methodist Episcopal general conference fixed the schedule for bishop elections. The process will begin Thursday and run until all officers are chosen. Resolutions denouncing lynching and calling to erase the color line were sent to committees without action. A proposal to cut salaries of conference officials was also referred to a committee.
