Hon Charles Mee publicly denies a very prevalent rumor circulating in the community, insisting his statements contradict the accusations and urging the public to rely on official records.
A rumor claimed Theo dore Haberkorn urged 81 50 daily wages for trench workers, with McCulloch and Bitler tied to the charge. McCulloch denied responsibility, Haberkorn said wages are fair and he refused payroll signing to ensure funds are used properly, stressing trust in payroll sources.
