Colby Company Returns to S R O After Weather Night

The Colby company returned after eight weeks as the S R O sign again lit early in the evening amid inclement weather. Miss Colline Cole, a renowned baritone, drew the greatest reception yet in the city and La Alberta on the bounding wire drew big applause. Colby and Way’s ventriloquist act with their dancing doll delighted the crowd. Miller and May offered a clever sketch and Ford and Sheridan’s blackface number was well received. Miss May’s singing stood out above typical theatre fare. A new farce is promised tonight with a likely full house.
