Fred Schimmel a Concordia College student fell on stairs Friday night breaking bones in his right arm. A Maumee avenue boy also fell but was not seriously hurt. A man named Barney Jackson, drunk, was fined 10.50 by Acting Mayor Huser after pleading guilty at police court. Allen County officials announced the purchase of the New Haven toll road for the appraised price of 4700. The four mile four thousand one hundred twenty seven feet road was owned by a stock company led by the Vordermark brothers. This is the county’s fourth gravel road purchase with three others remaining, including the Maysville and Decatur lines.
