The Odd Fellows lodge No 3505 held anniversary exercises at African M E church with large attendance from the city’s colored community. Rev Smith of South Bend gave the opening address recounting the society’s growth, followed by I F Williams. The Hamilton Colored Cornet Band, newly formed, escorted Rev Smith and performed well. Ice Cream Soda sold at A C Aurentz 5c per glass.

Impenetrable Mystery After Mrs Shondell Takes Laudanum

Malinda A. Bowersock filed for divorce from Andrew Bowersock and sought $18,000 alimony in the Superior Court. Edith Miller obtained a divorce from William Miller in the Superior Court. Rachael H. Hohnfels vs Moses Hohnfels is in trial in the circuit court. Standard Oil Co. won $800 judgment against McDonald & Watt in Superior Court, while J. K.
