The Business and Professional Women's Club reports receipts of 5914 pounds of waste household grease shipped since March 1943 from Fort Stockton. Five cents per pound funds the Cadet Club for Gibbs Field cadets, with $295.70 in deposits and $16.81 expenses for a year and three months. Donations to the Cadet Club total $140.67. $15 more went to the Red Cross for Pyote Army Air Base. A $123.22 balance remains for future maintenance or Red Cross support as area cafes and markets join the effort.

William Sidney Parker 83, born Boone County Arkansas, died Sunday at 11 a m after a week of critical illness. A lifelong farmer, he moved from Harrison Arkansas to Fort Stockton five years ago to live with daughter Mrs Lou Ervin and granddaughter Mrs Ward Winter. Surviving are son S L Parker of Brownwood and daughter Mrs C H Mad res of Artesia New Mexico with six grandchildren. Funeral was held Tuesday at 5 p m in Harrison Arkansas with Rev Lafferty. body shipped Monday. S L Parker accompanied it.
