Summer Recreation Track Meet Draws Fort Stockton Teams

Pecos County Commissioners in regular session approved J D Burk Construction Co for a clubhouse at Iraan with a base bid of 26140 and a 772 add on porch. Lem Smith Machinery Co had the low bid 6319.90 for a Precinct 2 dump truck as Riggs Motor Co bid 6682.06. They plan to advertise bids for fencing on Bakersfield Girvin road and authorize 14 miles of new fence along US 285 toward Sanderson in cooperation with the Texas Highway Department to preserve dikes for federal aid.
