Utilities See Tax Assessments Raise in Pecos County Board Review
Pecos County commissioners court acting as a board of equalization approved higher valuations for utility properties including Pecos Valley Power & Light, Southwestern Bell, and Santa Fe tracks after hearings Monday. Judge Silliman Injured In Kent Car Accident
Judge W. B. Silliman sustained a broken left ankle when he was run over by a car near Kent last Friday night. He was taken to Pecos hospital and returned home Sunday evening. Recovery is expected to take about six months.

Electrocution Ends Life of Midland Lad
An 11 year old boy, R. M. Wren, son of Mr and Mrs H Wren of Midland, died instantly when he touched a loose power line at home. He stood on a wire fence while trying to pull the live wire free, completing a circuit to the fence. He is brother of Mrs Theora Wilson of Fort Stockton.
